Here's an easy peasy way to support more accessibility to TVF programming for low-income youth, specifically students from J.B. Wright Elementary School.

For 9 years, we have been able to provide a full week of immersive farm camp in both the spring and fall for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders completely free of charge thanks to generous donors and tax-credit support.

In order to continue to offer this opportunity, we need your help with funding. If you participate with a tax-credit, you actually benefit, too. When you participate, you reduce your state tax liability by the amount you contribute.

This means you get your money back, dollar-for-dollar, in the form of a tax reduction.  And if you don't owe any state taxes, your contribution will be added to your refund.

100% of this money goes toward our fall and spring break camps giving underserved youth the opportunity to come to Tucson Village Farm and spend the week out on the farm, learning about healthy living, developing kitchen & culinary skills, eating nutritious foods, and of course, having lots of fun.

Many of the students that came to farm camp 8 or 9 years ago are still active in the farm today and these are youth who wouldn’t otherwise have had the opportunity. In order to make our programs accessible to those who need it most, we could really use your support.

Individuals can receive $200 back on their tax refund

Couples filing jointly can receive $400 on their tax refund

Here’s how to do it:

  2. Click: AZ Tax Credit (Under the “Pay, Donate & Contribute” section)
  3. Click: Donate as a Guest
  4. Fill Out:

School: Wright Elementary

Item: Field Trip Tax Credit

Memo: TVF

Easy as pie and your support REALLY does make a difference! 🙂

Refundable credits are very beneficial to taxpayers as they are paid out in full. This means it is essentially a free way to support Tucson youth because the money comes right back to you when you do your taxes.

We are grateful for the community's continued support over the years; we certainly couldn't do what we do without it.
