Fashion Upcycling Camp

Fashion Upcycling Camp

At Fashion Upcycling Camp, students will explore the intersection of fashion and sustainability through upcycling, sewing, visible mending, and embroidery. This two-week camp focuses on transforming old garments into stylish, wearable pieces, teaching campers how to repair and personalize clothing while learning key fashion industry skills like sketching, styling, and creative ideation. Campers will develop hands-on expertise in upcycling techniques, from sewing and mending to adding embroidery for unique, eco-conscious designs. Each camper will design and sew their own project (s) to be displayed at our Fashion Finale for parents on the last day of camp. Held at the University of Arizona Norton School, this camp offers an exciting opportunity to build technical skills, collaborate with peers, connect with fashion industry experts, and let your creative juices flow.
